Homebound Ministry / Saint Anne's Seniors
Volunteers help our homebound and senior parishioners stay connected with Saint Anne’s Parish in the following ways:
- Receiving Holy Communion through a homebound Eucharistic minister
- Regular visits by parish volunteers; flowers and birthday cards are sent as well
- Priests provide pastoral care and the sacraments as requested
- Our school children, Moms’ group, Youth Ministry, and Families in Service do special projects throughout the year to ‘stay in touch.’
- Homebound parishioners may listen to Mass celebrated at Saint Anne’s via a small speaker box connected to the parish sound system.
- Each year, a special Homebound Mass is celebrated with our homebound parishioners, with nurses and special volunteers bringing as many to Church as are able.
- A Telephone Network helps keep our senior parishioners connected, and a Homebound Newsletter is mailed out from the parish.
