Al-Anon

For over 50 years, Al-Anon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics.  The Al-Anon Family of Groups is a fellowship of relatives and friends who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their problems. Al-Anon’s purpose is to help families of alcoholics. The Groups do this by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic. Al-Anon is not affiliated with any religion or institution.

Saint Anne’s hosts Al-Anon meetings. For more information about Al-Anon and a schedule of meetings throughout Nassau County, including here at Saint Anne’s, please contact Al-Anon Information Services of Nassau County at 516-433-8003 or log onto www.al-anonny.org.
