Baptism is a sacrament of initiation. It is God’s call to be members of the Christian community, which is a hope-giving and redemptive. As baptized Catholic Christians, we, like Jesus Christ, are called into service for the sake of the community: to bring the light of Christ into the world.
Infant Baptisms are celebrated the first and third Sunday of each month at 1 pm. Parents are asked to contact the Rectory for additional information and to sign up for a Baptismal preparation meeting, held on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 pm in the Rectory. Parents also meet with one of our priests or deacons for a brief interview prior to the Baptism. These interviews are held on the last Saturday of each month. A staff member in the rectory will be happy to assist you in this process.; Adults seeking the Sacrament should contact the Rectory, where they will be directed to a member of the pastoral staff who will discuss the process of RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults).
