Volunteer Requirements

Dear Saint Anne’s Volunteer,

The good works of our parish are accomplished through the generosity of our dedicated volunteers. We thank you for being one of them!

In all we do, the safety of our parishioners and most especially our children is a top priority. Although you may not be directly involved with children in your ministry, heightened awareness of how to be most effective in protecting children is a benefit to all in our faith community. To ensure a safe environment is provided, the diocese requires all parish and school volunteers comply with the following requirements:

Complete an Application for Volunteer Service
Register to Attend Virtus Training. Click here to register.
Once you have created a Virtus account, you will be prompted to provide consent for a Background Screening and electronically sign a Code of Conduct.

We apologize if it seems you are being asked to meet pre-requisites in order to volunteer. The paperwork will take you a few minutes to complete and the Virtus training is a single session. If this helps ensure the safety of a child, it is time well spent. Thank you for your cooperation and prompt response.
