Eucharist
Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life". For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself.
- Catechism of the Catholic Church
In the celebration of the Eucharist Christ’s body and blood, blessed and broken, is received by us to share his life and light with others. Eucharist is celebrated daily at Saint Anne’s.
Young people prepare for their First Eucharist through the parish’s Faith Formation program, usually in the spring of second grade. For more information, please contact the Faith Formation Office at (516) 488-1032 or click here.
