The reading of sacred Scripture has always been an important part of Christian worship. The lector’s voice needs to carry God’s voice and not just pronounce words. The lector communicates a divine message.
Training and materials are provided for those who serve as lectors. Saint Anne’s has adult and youth lectors. If you are interested in serving as a lector, please contact Sister Judy at srjudy@stannesgc.org or at (516) 352-5904, ext. 201.
