Feast of St. Anne
Our parish feast day of Saint Anne is Friday July 26th
Bishop Andrzej has expressed his desire to commemorate the Feast of Saint Anne with our parish. On Sunday, July 28th he will be with us to celebrate Mass at 10:00AM in the church. The recognition and celebration of our parish feast day will continue with hospitality after the Mass in the St. Francis Ministry Center. We hope you will join us!
Our parish feast day is Friday, July 26th. We remember the parents of Mary and the grandparents of Jesus as models of faith and hopefulness. It was the parents of Mary who nurtured her, taught her, and brought her up to be a worthy Mother of God. It was their teaching that brought Mary to say, "Let it be done to me according to your word." It was the faith and example of Anne and Joachim that Mary must have followed as she brought up her own son, Jesus and stood by the cross as he was crucified and still believed. Anne and Joachim are examples and models for all parents and grandparents.
