Prayer Requests
Would you like to join your prayers to that of the whole parish? A kind invitation from Linda Leone and Sr. Judy can be found below. They indicate how you can forward the names of those persons for whom you wish to pray. As your requests are received, we will discover various ways to include them in the prayers of the parishioners at St. Anne’s including at Sunday and daily Masses. With Sr. Judy, Linda Leone, and all the parish priests and parish staff, we invite your requests for prayers.
PRAYER REQUESTS FOR THE DECEASED & THE SICK
During this challenging time when we are physically separated from the support usually offered by our friends and our communities, Saint Anne’s remains here for you. For all those who are sick, whether from COVID or other illnesses, Saint Anne’s Parish will be praying for you. We invite you to send us the names of those who are ill so we can include them in the prayers offered at Saint Anne’s. With respect to the privacy of individuals, these names will not be read aloud but will be known to our priests, deacons and staff.
For those who have lost a loved one during this time when restrictions do not allow us to gather for a funeral Mass in our Church, we will include the names of the deceased in our prayers. Please know that funeral Masses will be scheduled for these loved ones when the restrictions are eased and we are able to gather again.
We will keep the names of all these individuals on cards that will be kept in a basket in the sanctuary near the altar, as a visible sign for all to know we are praying for them.
Please send the names of those who are sick and those who have died to
Linda Leone at lindaleone@stannesgc.org
Wishing you the peace of Christ at this troubled time.
PRAYER REQUESTS FOR MEDICAL PERSONNEL & OTHER ESSENTIAL WORKERS
Dear Parishioners,
Know that you are thought of and prayed for each and every day! We all miss being with you in the many liturgies, ministries and activities of our parish!! We pray and long for the day that we can gather again.
Each day at mass we remember to pray for and deeply appreciate all those who are on the front lines of service to the community. We pray for our medical personnel…doctors, nurses, aides, EMT’s, ambulance drivers, hospital workers. We pray for those who keep us safe…police, fire department, postal service, federal, state and local workers. We pray for all those in essential work… grocery workers, delivery workers, sanitation workers, and the list could go on and on.
We would like to in some way acknowledge these wonderful men and women in a special way at Mass. If you are or have someone in these services you would like to remember in prayer please email Sr. Judy at srjudy@stannesgc.org and we will place the name of that person or persons on a card that will be kept on the altar during Mass.
We will also be remembering those who are sick or who have died at this time. Linda Leone will be gathering those names for a special remembrance at Mass
We are looking forward to hearing from you so that in this special way we can all be praying for those who are serving us at this difficult time.
