Memorializing a Loved One
Mass Cards
- Mass intentions can be requested for loved ones, both living and deceased. An announced Mass refers to a Mass celebrated on a specific day and time, where your loved one's name will be remembered during the Prayer of the Faithful. An unannounced Mass refers to a Mass where the priest silently prays for your intention. Cards suitable for sending are available for both types of intenions. The suggested donation is twenty dollars. For more information, or to request a Mass intention, please stop by or call the Parish Office.
Altar Bread and Wine
- We offer the opportunity for the Altar Bread and Wine to memorialize a loved one. Donations can be made for these in memory of loved ones both living and deceased for one week. Please call or stop by the Parish Office to make arrangements. An acknowledgement of your memorial will appear in the Sunday bulletin and we offer a card that can be given to the family of the loved one. The suggested donation is twenty-five dollars for either the altar bread or wine, or fifty dollars for both.
Liturgical Memorials
- Parishioners often want to make a donation for an item that will be used in our parish's liturgies in the weeks, months and years to come. This is a wonderful practice that gives honor to a loved one and provides much needed support for our parish community. We have a number of items to be memorialized in the name of your loved one, including vestments worn by our deacons and Lectionaries used at Masses celebrated in our Church. If you would like to memorialize an item, please call or stop by the Parish Office for more information about prices and specific needs.
Commemorative Brick Walkway Program
- This is a wonderul way that we, as a community, can create a lasting legacy. Commemorative bricks are a perfect way to acknowledge special achievements - baptisms, marriages, graduations, birthdays, or other joyous occasions, or to memorialize a loved one. Order forms are are available at the Parish Office or by clicking here. All proceeds support the efforts of the Saint Anne's Home School Association.
