Baptism
Baptism is a sacrament of initiation. It is God’s call to be members of the Christian community, which is hope-giving and redemptive. As baptized Catholic Christians, we, like Jesus Christ, are called into service for the sake of the community: to bring the light of Christ into the world.
Infant Baptisms are celebrated every Sunday at 1:30PM. Parents are asked to contact the Parish Office at (516) 352-5904 to schedule an appointment, to begin the process of planning for your child’s Baptism.
Adults seeking to be baptized should contact the Parish Office at (516) 352-5904 to speak with Sister Judy about the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).
If you were baptized at Saint Anne's, and need a copy of your Baptismal Cerfificate, you may request one by calling the Parish Office at (516) 352-5904, or by e-mailing mharold@stannesgc.org. We will need to know the approximate month and year of your baptism in order to search our records.
If you have been asked to be a Godparent or Confirmation Sponsor for a family member or friend from another Parish, you may be asked to provide a Sponsor Cerfiicate. You may request this certificate by calling the Parish Office at (516) 352-5904, or by e-mailing mharold@stannesgc.org.
