Lent...A Season of Mercy

Prayerfully consider joining us to help make your Lenten journey more meaningful

Dear Parishioners,

Many of you participated in the first two seasons of our Healing Symposium. We enjoyed the insights of the six presenters who shared various points on the importance of healing.

The third season of our symposium will coincide with the 2015 Lenten season and will be shaped by our Lenten faith.   The focus of this Healing Symposium season will be the place of mercy in the experience of healing,  the call from Pope Francis  that parishes become “islands of mercy”, and the hope the parish may provide encouragement and support  for your Lenten practice.

Using the Sunday gospels as a discussion point, we will join together in guided reflections and discuss ways to incorporate the Works of Mercy into our everyday lives as we strive to be healed and to be healers.

I invite you to join with other parishioners in making this Lent a shared and special time.

Sincerely in Christ,
