Worship November 01, 2015 - November 01, 2015 11:45AM Mass of Thanksgiving
Please join us for a Mass of Thanksgiving
November 1st at 10:00AM in the Church

(Family Mass will not be celebrated on November 1st)

With our deepest gratitude that no one was injured in the rectory fire,
we celebrate this Mass with appreciation for the concern, support
and love that has been offered.

A reception will follow in McCloskey Auditorium.   Please RSVP to Susanne Blum at sblum@stannesg.org  or 352-5904 so we may plan appropriately.

Saint Anne’s Fire Recovery Fund

Since the fire, parishioners have provided assistance in all sorts of ways.  We have created a Saint Anne’s Fire Recovery Fund.  Parishioners still wishing to make a donation will have their contribution deposited in this fund.  These funds will be used to cover expenses resulting from the fire that are not covered by insurance.

Worship November 02, 2015 - November 02, 2015 All Souls Day Mass

All Souls Day Mass—Monday, November 2nd  at  7:30PM

Each year we celebrate a special Mass for all those who have died during the past year here at Saint Anne’s.  All Souls Day Mass will be celebrated at the 7:30PM Mass on Monday, November 2nd.  If we think for just a moment, each of us in the parish will remember someone who has touched our lives and is no longer with us.  Families who have lost a loved one buried from Saint Anne’s this past year are receiving an invitation to attend this liturgy.  We also invite all parishioners to come to the Mass to gather in prayer with those families who have lost loved ones.

Monday, November 2nd will begin the All Souls Novena, remembering our loved ones at Masses for the following nine days.

Parish Social Ministry November 03, 2015 - November 03, 2015 7:30PM Catholic Family Life - Planning Meeting - Please Join Us!

Catholic Family Life – Please Join Us!

Planning Meeting  -Tuesday, November 3, 2015 @ 7:30PM               School Library

“As Christians, we appreciate the beauty of the family and of family life as the place where we come to learn the meaning and value of human relationships.”

(Pope Francis, 9/26/15, Prayer Vigil)

As our children grow and our challenges as parents become more complex, it is sometimes hard to know where to seek the support and advice that mirror the values with which we are trying to raise our children.

Together, we can try to meet that need.  Our thought is to create a group of interested parents within the Saint Anne’s Parish Community to do just that.  We are in the very preliminary stages of development and planning, and invite you to join us in that process.

The format of the group and possible topics of interest are open for discussion.  We look forward to hearing your insights and suggestions!  Please join us on Tuesday, November 3rd @ 7:30PM in the School Library.  Questions?  Please contact Mary Stenson at mstenson@ stannesgc.org or  352-5904.

Worship November 06, 2015 - November 06, 2015 8:00PM First Friday - Holy Hour
First Friday is November 6th
We invite you to spend time in prayer…

Holy Hour

There will be a Holy Hour with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday, November 6th at 8:00PM in the St. Therese Chapel.

COME JOIN US! - The Nocturnal Adoration Society is a group of parishioners who spend one hour in Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament on the first Friday of every month.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered on Thursday, November 5th at 4:30PM and Saturday at 4:00PM.  If you are unable to make it at the scheduled time, please call the rectory at 352-5904 to make an appointment with a priest.

Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament is available to those who are ill, bringing God’s healing and strength.  Anointing of the Sick is especially appropriate for anyone with serious illness, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, those who are being admitted to the hospital, or anyone who is elderly.  In this sacrament, Jesus asks, “Do you want to be healed?”  Through this sacrament, God offers us the gift of peace.

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is celebrated on the first Saturday of each month at the 8:30AM Mass.  If a loved one is unable to come to church, please call the rectory to arrange for a home visit.

An added bonus for attendees – photographer Sue Crinnion will be on hand to take complimentary professional head shots of anyone interested in updating his or her Linkedin profile.

Saint Anne’s Professional Networking Group welcomes all parishioners, whether you’re currently seeking employment or professional development or if you are employed and willing to assist others.  For any information, please contact Linda Leone at 352-5904 or lindaleone@stannesgc.org
